Making the Most of your Village
This site is run by Steve Day on behalf of a group of villagers who arrange various events for the advantage and benefit of Swanton Abbott and surrounding villages. Unfortunately over time the group has become less active but you are welcome to join in with any or all of the events listed or use the site to promote your own activities within the village. Our only aim is inclusivity- we want everyone to feel welcome in Swanton Abbott!
We live in a great place. We are surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk Countryside, So why not get out and enjoy it with the Swanton Abbott Walking club? Eight or ten of us go out for a five mile walk once a month, usually on the second Sunday of the month. Dogs and children are welcome and we are always interested in new members. It costs nothing, you catch up on the local gossip and maybe go to places you have not been before. And if you would rather explore alone, download one of the walks on the dedicated page here.
